Illuminated Signs
One of the most effective ways to create round the clock impact is the use of illumination. The two methods for illumination use either an internal or external light source which can be fluorescent, neon or LED's
Internal illumination is one of the most common and can be a full effect where all of the sign lights up, to text only illumination through to the more subtle use of halo where light exits from the back of the sign and illuminates the wall behind. Combinations of the above can be created to produce eye-catching signs
External illumination tends to be used where internal illumination would be inappropriate; such as companies with a more traditional image or areas with planning restrictions. The effect is created either via a continuous overhead unit which can be finished to a specified size and colour or the more traditional looking swan neck lanterns, also available in colours but most popular in brass
