RNIB and RNID have created some excellent online resources for those who would like help with accessibility issues. Changing the text font size
If you would like to change the size of the text, you can do so by doing the following:
Internet Explorer
Select 'View' from your browser menu, and then 'Text size'. Then select what size you would like it to appear. You can also select 'Zoom' to incease the size of all text and images on the page.
Firefox
Select "View" from your browser menu, and then 'Zoom' to increase the size of all images and text. If you would only like to increase the text, select 'Zoom Text Only', then 'Zoom' to increase the text size.
Safari
Select "View" from your browser menu, and then 'Make Text Bigger'.
Google Chrome
Click the icon to the left of the spanner on the right hand side of the screen, then select 'Make Text Bigger'.
Opera
Select "View" from your browser menu, and then 'Zoom' to increase the size of all images and text.
Alternatively you can hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" key to increase or the "-" key to decrease the text size. This works on all the above browsers.
You can also change the text size by holding down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard whilst moving your mouse wheel.
